Great Outdoor Start for United Teams!

The Wausau United teams continued to make 2013 a banner year for the club. Our teams racked up numerous indoor championships this spring and have continued that role by already bringing home some hardware (or t-shirts) from several early season tournaments and league championships.

Our U14 coed team (pictured below – top) won the Mountain Bay tournament earlier in May. Our U18 Boys team (pictured below – bottom) took down several state premier league teams  and went undefeated at the Neenah Flatgrass tournament last weekend. And finally, our U17 Boys’ team (not pictured) went undefeated in the high school division of the Western Wisconsin Classic League. imagesAlong with the PFC Camp (see below) Wausau United is also hosting a Challenger Sports TetraBrazil Camp this summer. The camp will be held at South Mountain Elementary from June 24th – June 28th.

From the TetraBrazil website:

“TetraBrazil brings the flair and passion of Brazilian soccer to America. TetraBrazil Soccer Camps provide American players with the opportunity to experience first-hand the kind of soccer training that has made Brazil the most successful soccer nation in the world. The TetraBrazil system of coaching teaches Brazilian techniques, footwork and moves in a fun and challenging environment.”

Wausau United is joining with Premier Futbol International Academy Camps and MC United to host a new soccer camp in Wausau this summer.

We are excited to invite players to train with Youth Academy Coaches from Europe from July 8th – 12th at Wausau East High School.

The camp is open to all players, aged 7-18. The cost for the half-day sessions (either 9-noon or 1-4) is $200, with a $50 discount for signing up before April 30th.
